Harrah's
Open
24 hours
Along
the mighty Mississippi sits the
newly-created 100,000-sq.-ft.
Harrah’s Casino Hotel New Orleans. A casino
of style and history, the decor
features the New Orleans
environment....Mardi
Gras. Each of
the five gaming areas depicts a
"Mardi Gras court"
flavor. The Mansion Ballroom
features large murals on the
walls. Oak trees in the
casino lend a charming environment
to the crooning singers as they
sing songs of the past. Smugglers
Court, a beach scene, features a
salty old pirate, Jean Lafitte.
The
casino features 2,900 slots and
117 table games and it is accessible from an
under ground tunnel from the
parking and unloading area. The
casino has a Total Rewards
Giveaway, a program that allows
the patron earnings from playing
at the slots or the tables.
There
are eight buffets featuring local
restaurant cuisine with seating
for 250 patrons. The casino
supports local restaurants by
having examples of the food
available in the buffets and in
local rolling food carts (even
Lucky Dog, a New Orleans favorite
hot dog).
The
casino is located just a few short
steps from the French
Quarter. Located at Convention Blvd.
and Poydras Street, the facility
is situated near the Morial
Convention Facility. Harrah's is
also across the street from the
Aquarium of the Americas and the
IMAX theater which are both at the
foot of Canal Street.
With
the bonding Harrah's has
with local hotels and restaurants,
Harrah’s Hotel Partners enjoy
the fact that they have more than 17,000 hotel rooms and 300
restaurants available to casino patrons. There
are 3,364 continuous rooms to the property.
You can stay and play for as
little as $79 a night (subject
to certain blackout dates).
Four hours of free
parking and valet parking
available.
