NEW ORLEANS > GOLF & COUNTRY CLUBS

Golf

New Orleans Golf--Audubon ParkGolf is a year-round sport in Louisiana as the climate is almost always perfect for the sport. The New Orleans area is home to some of the best courses in the country. As such, PGA players tee-off every Spring at New Orleans’ own English Turn, a course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The guide below will give you a peek inside some of the best public and semi-private courses around New Orleans.

Bayou Oaks Golf Course
1040 Filmore Ave
(504) 483-9396

Bayou Oaks has four different courses making up 72 holes of incredible golf. The Little Course, the Championship Course, the Wisner Course, and the Lakeside Course provide a wide range of challenges for beginners to the most advanced golfers. This public course, originally built in 1908, was a previous site of the New Orleans PGA.

Brechtel Golf Course

Lakewood Country Club
4801 General Degaulle Dr
(504) 393-1010

This beautiful 18-hole, semi-private course plays much tougher than it looks because many old cypress and oak trees block the easy access to the greens. If you are not too frustrated, you may still be able to enjoy the many beautiful scenes of Louisiana natural wildlife in and around the Lakewood course.

Weekday Green Fees: $62.13 for 18 holes

Weekend Green Fees: $78.48 for 18 holes

There are no Senior Discounts available.
